The Murphy

The Murphy is a planned commercial development in Gilbert designed with the nearby railroad tracks in mind. It’s name pays homage to the man who built the tracks through town. The Murphy consists of a retail complex and focal point of the neighborhood and a gathering place for the community to shop and dine. It is comprised of five retailers, a coffee shop and a restaurant situated around a lush courtyard and bound by the railroad tracks creating a unique and inviting setting.

Block 23

Block 23 is the highly anticipated urban mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Phoenix It is designed to create a vibrant live-work-play environment that will be home to the area’s first grocery store by Fry’s Grocery store, which has long been sought after by residents and city leaders. Slated for completion in 2019, Block 23 will also include approximately 330 apartments, 200,000 square feet of creative office space, restaurant and retail uses along with above- and below-grade parking. This 2.98 gross acre parcel is bounded by Jefferson Street, Washington Street, 1st Street, and 2nd Street in downtown Phoenix. This site was originally owned by the City of Phoenix. Legal representation included development agreement and all land use entitlements.

The Marquee

Withey Morris successfully entitled this 2.5 acre site in the heart of Downtown Scottsdale for an iconic, 190,000 sqft Class-A, creative office project with roughly 14,000 sqft of ground floor retail.  The 7-story, 90 ft tall project is designed to comply with Scottsdale Green Building program and includes substantial streetscape improvements, outdoor dining patios and 3 level of below grade parking.  WM led the due diligence and entitlement efforts which also included the processing of a Text Amendment and the negotiation of a Development Agreement with the City.

Arizona Center

The Arizona Center is a premier Class A mixed-use campus consisting of 1,070,993 square feet located in Phoenix, Arizona. To date, we have performed title and entitlements due diligence during the acquisition by the current owner.  We continue to develop new private governance documents in connection with the redevelopment of the Project.

The San Tan

Designed to respond to the increasing growth and demand for a contemporary and collaborative office space, “The San Tan” office campus is an architecturally significant, Class A, mixed use development in the City of Chandler, Arizona. The project includes an roughly 400,000 sq ft of phased office space, accessory retail/restaurant space, a multi-level parking garage, creative landscape and hardscape components and unique, shred gathering areas.

2100 Rio Salado Project

Mixed use commercial development located at key intersection of Loop 101 & 202 freeways in Tempe, AZ, just east of Tempe Marketplace. Land use entitlements including a PAD, Development Plans, and numerous Use Permits for mid-rise office, hotel, retail/commercial/service and restaurant/bar uses.

Artesian Marketplace

A 30 acre, mixed use development at the southwest corner of Ocotillo & Gilbert Roads which includes a, 190,000 sq. ft. grocery-anchored retail center and a small family subdivision. The property was originally owned by the City of Chandler. Legal representation included the Request for Proposals (RFP) process and all land use entitlements.


Located at the northwest corner of 19th Avenue and Happy Valley Road and is generally known as the USAA Phoenix Corporate Campus with approximately 396.38-acres of vacant land. This is the largest Planned Unit Development (“PUD”) in the city and will create a mixed-use development that provides new housing opportunities to area employers along with complementary uses such as retail, dining and entertainment, hotel, and new offices. The mixed-use nature of the development will help balance the jobs to housing ratio and will bring vitality to the Deer Valley Village.

Ritz Carlton

An approximate 105-acre mixed use development located in Paradise Valley. This project includes 157 single-family residential homes and 280 hotel rooms, suites and resort villas. The development also includes a resort-related mixed use development.

Portico Place

A 14-acre redevelopment project located at the southwest corner of Chandler Blvd and Dobson Road. The development included demolition of an abandoned manufacturing building, replacing it with a mixed-use development consisting of office, retail, and mid-rise hotel.

Chandler Spectrum

A 100-acre mixed-use business park at the southeast corner of Price Road and Loop 202 in Chandler. The development includes more than 1 million square feet of employment uses, office, hotels, and approximately 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurants. The project includes a mid-rise component.

Gilbert Esplanade

A 140-acre mixed-use development located at the northeast corner of Gilbert Road and Loop 202. This mixed use project is approved for approximately 500,000 square feet of retail space and over 1,000,000 square feet of office space including a mid-rise component.

Mesa Riverview

Land use approvals and multi-million dollar Development Agreement for a 250-acre project at Loop 202 and Dobson Road in Mesa. This $300 million mixed-use development includes up to 2 million square feet of entertainment and retail uses, a 33-acre auto mall featuring five dealerships, and an approximate 45-acre employment office park.
